These are a great replacement for the original sponges that were used with the Weller and simile irons.

I have an old Radio Shack soldering stand with a tip cleaning sponge. I was unable to quickly locate the proper size sponges, but cut in half these are a perfect fit. They shipped faster than I expected based on the shipping description.
