Applicable Machinery

Multiple Specifications Wood Cutters
There are TWO Specifications of single flute CNC bits for woodworking. The shank is 3.175mm(1/8 inch), cutting length is 12mm, 15mm.
Please choose a cutting length that exceeds the board by 2-5mm, or it will result the CNC endmill breaking.

This endmill is an easy 5 Stars. I have purchased quite a few different endmills over the years and this one is one of the most impressive value for your money. And by value, I mean its quality of cut of extremely good and its wearability has been outstanding.The true diameter of this bit is .113"Using on a CNC for aluminum cutting. I have been achieving excellent results cutting with a chip load of .0018" I use a fogger which is dialed back quite a bit to just put out a a tiny amount of fluid (99% IPA) and a good jet of air. Zero chip welding, zero broken bits.Most of the time I run:17500 RPM at 30IPM at .045 DOCThat being said I have pushed it harder then that with good results with a pocket of DOC pushing .08" and same specs as above. I have no doubt this can run consistently well with a .002" chip load.

These bits are awesome. I am very new to cnc and was looking to buy my first bits capable of handling a lot of different materials while keeping their strength. Spent a whole week searching on Amazon for different bits and while I did find some that looked like they were fairly good, I happened upon these and decided to give them a try. Iām glad I did because these bits truly are perfect for a beginner or even someone looking for o-flute bits. They are true carbide and are extremely durable. I cut both that wood piece and aluminum with the same bit and they are just as durable as they were before I used them. I am yet to break a bit and I believe these will last me a good while. So again, if you are new or looking for bits, these are a great option in my opinion. Not to mention the value for what I paid. You get 10 bits for the price of almost nothing and they work amazingly. I truly am in love with these bits and most definitely will be coming back for more in the future. I hope this helps.

These bits look really cool with the diamone-like coating. I ordered them for my CNC router project to use on aluminum, but I haven't got it up and running yet. I did some test cuts in my manual milling machine, but you really need higher rpm's to make these things shine. They work great on the manual mill but I have to feed quite slowly. All 5 of the bits look fantastic and have extremely sharp edges. So far so good, and I'll give an update when I get the chance to spin them up on the CNC.

Cutting at 24000RPM,24IPM feed, 10IPM plunge, 0.0625DOC and 40% Stepover and it is working great, no coolant, no air.

If you're slotting aluminum with a desktop CNC router like a shapeoko these are what you need. Something about the coating stops chip welding when cutting dry.

I have been using these on smaller desktop CNC milling machines with good results. They have been holding their edge well when used on Aluminum. I have been using air blast on the spindle to evacuate chips and offer some sort of cooling effect which may have contributed to the life of these. I am still on my first bit with many many hours of running without any noticeable defects in surfaces of machined parts.

I have a low powered home mini mill and these work great for aluminum. Don't have enough hours on them to speak to durability but they cut well and I am happy with them.
