VermisTerra HydroSpiral Tube is a mesh, deep root watering tube which installs into the ground near the base of the plant. It includes a 1 GPH emitter that slowly drips, allowing moisture to seep into difficult to permeate soil. Great solution for growing in compact soil, clay soil, and hot and dry environments. Installation Info

  • Connect the included 1 GPH emitter to your drip line.
  • Drip irrigation run time based on number of gallons of water needed to permeate root zone.
  • You may have to dig into the soil to check how far the moisture travels in your particular soil type.

Water Movement, Down, Out, Then Up

  • The water will travel down and outward, seeping farther the longer you run the irrigation. Then it wicks back up toward the surface. The top inch will stay dry.
  • Allow soil to dry out a few days between watering so roots can breathe.

Removal Cap

  • Check debris cap occasionally and remove leaf litter
  • Optional: add gravel to pot cap

How Far Does Moisture Reach
