Installation Info
- Connect the included 1 GPH emitter to your drip line.
- Drip irrigation run time based on number of gallons of water needed to permeate root zone.
- You may have to dig into the soil to check how far the moisture travels in your particular soil type.
Water Movement, Down, Out, Then Up
- The water will travel down and outward, seeping farther the longer you run the irrigation. Then it wicks back up toward the surface. The top inch will stay dry.
- Allow soil to dry out a few days between watering so roots can breathe.
Removal Cap
- Check debris cap occasionally and remove leaf litter
- Optional: add gravel to pot cap
How Far Does Moisture Reach
- Tests in sandy soil found water can spread up to 5-10 ft outward from tube.
- Water will travel deeper for sandy soil and farther out-wards for clay soils.
