MPD Digital Offers Custom Cable Configurations To Run Inside the Mast
The issue most face is that the conduit or raceway inside your mast is smaller or the same diameter as your connectors! UHF connectors used on most Marine AIS and Radio equipment are 3/4 of an inch, the same size as the free space within most masts. The coaxial cable fits but the connectors don't!
MPD Digital will custom cut and configure antenna lines and jumpers into Two Sections for Ease of Installation!!!
Two Section Water Tight Ultra Low Loss Cable Runs
MPD will custom cut and configure antenna lines in Two Sections - the first with a UHF connector for your Antenna on one end and a small low loss cable connector on the other to allow you to easily slide the cable from the top to the bottom of the mast.
Ultra Low Loss with Ease of Installation
At the base of the mast we provide another water tight connection and a custom length of cable with a connection to your radio or AIS equipment. Simply run your cables from Antenna and radios and connect them together!
How Our Solution Works!

- With the Remaining Antenna Connector and Cable to the Antenna at the top of mast, ...
- Feed the small water tight connector through the mast.
- Run the cable from your Radio, the small installed connector feeds through tight spaces.
- Connect to the cable from the mast using the installed water tight connectors.
