Vicki has had many friends and family who were veterans from WWII to current. Her respect for the military and love for her country grew stronger when her son joined up right after 9/11. He bravely served in Iraq and is the greatest patriot she has ever known. It was only natural for Vicki to create patriotic paintings in her studio as gifts and donations at local charitable fundraisers. She was thrilled to be asked to design a patriotic fabric line for RBD. Vicki is a grandma, artist and military mom who loves to spend her days on her Southern Illinois farm and painting in her studio. She even began chainsaw carving in 2022. Vicki enjoys expressing her creativity through music and art. She comes from a family of creative people who are gifted at many things including some fantastic quilters. Vicki is looking forward to making quilts with her mom using her own fabric line.
