Cheap, probably temporary, fix. Passenger side wiper stopped working and the linkage was not connected. Pulled the cowl off, removed the wiper linkage assembly, and installed one of these clips. Reassembled everything and both wipers are working again just fine. Down the road I'll probably have to replace the linkage assembly but for now, this clip saves some money. The work involved to install the clip is the same as replacing the whole linkage though. Side note- I tried installing the clip without removing the entire assembly, but I wasn't able to.

So far working good this style wraps around arm transmission linkage then once installed on wiper motor arm push down.

Have to put the clip 90 degrees from the action of the wiper. Took me over an hour to figure out. This will save you some blood as the clip is pretty sharp. It installs from the side of the assembly.

These clips worked out perfect! They fixed my wipers on my Hummer H3 2006.Easy to clip on and held nice and tight! Better than any plastic clips!

Update: it is August 31st, 2021. This "temporary" part has been going strong now for over a year. Better mileage than I've gotten our of some genuine parts...First of all, the way Ford designed these windshield wipers simply defies logic. But, apparently this linkage is just how windshield wipers are designed by Ford, so it's a problem that begs a solution.Rather than swapping out the whole mechanism, I thought I'd give these clips a chance to prove themselves. I put them on the vehicle back in early February, and they are still going strong. They functioned well during some snow, and have kept up with the constant Washington rain since.If they can give me another six months of uninterrupted usage, they're worth the small price I paid for them. That's an important note, however. These are not designed as a permanent replacement. Frankly, they've likely already paid for themselves in simple convenience, not to mention a hefty bill for new wiper mechanism.
