This 10-piece wood carving bit set used in rotary tools such as Dremel, comes in a plastic case to keep them organized and protected. For what I can discern, they are similar to Dremel #'s 100, 196, 117, 652, 7120 and 7144. The others I was not able to find a similar bit. They are very sharp and unique wood carving can be achieved with these. Great little set for your creative wood working projects

I was offered these Rotary Tool Wood Carving bits, free of charge, for an honest review under the 'Vine' Program.Full disclosure, I am a absolute novice at wood carving, so I was intrigued to try these bits. All of the bits are quite sharp and fit easily into all three of the Rotary Tools I have (One genuine mains powered Dremel and 2 other low cost battery rotary tools). Then, the fun begins, trying to imagine what each of the bits do!The description says that this ‘kit; is suitable for beginners but unless you already have an understanding of what each of the bits is supposed to do and how to use them I do not think that is the case. Surprisingly, in trying to research & learn more, the only bits I have seen regularly used by others are the engraving (ball head) and ‘flame’. These bits are not included in this set.I have spent some time trying all of the bits out using my different rotary tools at different speeds and holding at different angles but all my results have been very poor. I’m sure that if I had more knowledge and more practice these would be fine but they are certainly not great for complete beginners. Perhaps if a small instruction sheet, showing the purpose/use of each bit , was provided I would be able to give a more favourable rating.

This set of carving bits arrives in a small easy to recycle plastic box. A set that's well made from strong steel with really sharp edges with a good selection of different style bits.A set that fits my dremel style rotary tool perfectly and works great on plastics and wood. A set that's great value for money, especially as you get 10 bits, and well recommended if you need to do any detail work.

🔎The set comes nicely packed in small, protective case.🧡The individual tools are easy to access, once the box has been open.Small, for precise work.👎Rather poor quality, one tip broke during first use, before any work was completed...The sharpening bit is uneven and there is no way to use it as intended.I tested them on the MDF board and they struggle a lot, so not great for wood work.Maybe good as a touch up, but not to do semething on imtheir own in my opinion.💲In my opinion I'd rather look for something better quality, maybe one of the more known brands.

This is a small set of 10 wood working bits for a Dremmell type rotary tool. They come contained in a small plastic case. There are some interesting shaped cutters which should help with intricate work. The cutters are very sharp easily cut through hard woods, you just need to make sure you get your speed right so that you don’t burn it out or dull your cutter. With soft wood it is less of an issue.

Great set of extremely sharp pouter-type bots for a small rotary tool (e.g. Dremel). Comes in a handy case which is inexpensive but not cheap—nicely holds the bits and snaps shut for storage.The bits are sharp and cut quickly and easily. Some of the bits go where you aim them, some take firmer control of the tool. But they all seemed to work really well. Price is great, too.

I do a lot of whittling and carving small, detailed items. I mostly do them by hand but have a couple of different electric tools I also use from time to time. I was excited to see these and couldn't wait to try them out. I have many different sets of bits. These fit my Dremel just fine. The problem is that no matter what speed I have the Dremel on, a couple of the bits just jump around like crazy to the point of being dangerous. Particularly the bit that is supposed to carve shapes that resemble tiny eye sockets. I am just not impressed with these at all.

I use these to detail cedar walking sticks. I'm not too artistic but try to make each one unique with some kind of design. They work good on this kind of wood.

This is a compact yet comprehensive set of 1/8" Dremel bits that cover a wide scope of different projects but also just fit into your pocket when done. They're all arranged nicely, and well constructed. The also come in SHARP, so you're ready to go right out of the box. Also useful for a CNC router (possibly with an attachment) to get your projects really rolling. Well constructed individually and well thought out options. Well done...

This is a very tiny carving bit set. They are only a few mm in size. It's my fault for not inspecting the pictures for dimensions more carefully. I didn't use them yet to see how effective they are but the bits are very sharp. I almost cut my fingers inspecting them.There are some finish issues though. Two of the bits had what looked like rust or more likely burn marks and two others had blemished on the cutting edges. I took some included some pictures for inspection.I gave it a tentative 3 stars since I can't tell if they are good or bad and what sorts of tasks I can use these for, since they are so tiny. I can only imaging carving small lettering or logos or such things with these and most of them, like the star shaped ones seem somewhat odd and not very practical.I may return and update this review after I try them on a few tasks.
