  • This product has a maximum voltage drop of 0.5V at 15A. For regular diodes, especially high current types, there is a voltage drop of about 0.9V, and this product has a voltage drop of about half that.
  • Maximum Average Forward Current: 15 AMP, Forward Current (at DC10A): 0.55V, Maximum DC Blocking Voltage: 45V.
  • Feature: High surge current capability, Low leakage and forward voltage drop, Low power loss, high efficiency.
  • Function: Used as high frequency, low voltage, large current rectifier diode, relay diode, protection diode, also useful in microwave communication and other circuits as rectifier diode, small signal detection diode.
  • Widely used in solar panel, charger circuit, product development, students experiment, switching power supply, etc.

Got these to have on hand and to demo a full bridge rectifier to someone. They performed as expected but I did not test the components against their specs. Overall I'm happy with the product and have no complaints.

This is a common diode used in solar panels for bypassing and in series with power lead for reverse voltage protection of electronic equipment. I had a lightning event years ago and found a number of bypass diodes shorted in my solar panels and replacing them saved my panels. These have very low forward voltage. With 1A of current the loss was 0.318V and 0.305V with 5V. As a diode heats up the forward voltage begins to drop. At a very heavy load of 10A the forward voltage increased to 0.324V. Reverse voltage tested at 55V. These diodes tested to specifications.
