The air filters are quality parts and they fit perfectly. Would recommend this part. Just a helpful hint, change your air frequently so you mower will perform properly.

Fully functional air filter that should work just fine but it is not the same quality as OEM. There were some melt spots on the blue plastic housing but none that would hinder the operation of the filter. Outer foam ring is about what I expected. It does slip off for cleaning. I'm sure that you're supposed to just purchase a new one but everyone I know taps the dirt out and hits them with an air compressor. This one may be more disposable than OEM.

The air filter looks just like the OEM's filter. The only difference is the foam sleeve is about half the thickness as the OEM's. Other than that, this is a great replacement filter. I might add a little oil to the foam sleeve to help it filter out dust.

The filter cartridge appears to well made and fits ok, but the pre-filter foam sock that covers the cartridge is pathetic compare to the OEM product. The pre filter is one third as thick as the OEM product and you can see light though it. Very porous and not dense like the OEM product. Just cheap and very disappointing. The pre filter is your first line of defense in helping to keep a clean cartridge filter and carburetor. This pre- filter is useless and a piece of junk. I cleaned my old one and I am reusing it until my OEM pre filter delivers. Lessons learned.

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED. IT FITS GREAT , AND PERFORMS AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL. I CHANGE OIL EVERY 25 HOURS ( I 'M IN SOUTH FLORIDA AND USE STRAIGHT 30 OR 40 WEIGHT MOSTLY, OR 20W 50 WT., OR WHATEVER IS ON SALE AND STP OIL FILTER # 4967 SHORTIE WORKS FINE OR EQUIVALENT, FOR MANY DECADES NOW IN THIS MOWER W/O ANY ISSUES. ) SOMETIMES AUTO ZONE HAS STP FILTERS. ABOUT $5 OR 6.BUCKS. I'LL BE USING PENSOIL 10-40 WT FROM 5 QT PLASTIC JUG FROM AMAZON ABOUT $23.00 BUCKS, NOW THAT THE ENGINE HAS OVER 2000 HOURS ON IT. KEEP IT SERVICED.
