My kids Chromebook suffered a shattered display, and the cost of some replacement panels was about 60% of the pc cost, this is is excluding labor. I wouldn't consider myself a pc repair tech, but one not afraid to watch a few videos or afraid of taking a chance.... Plus it was a good teaching point for the kids on how to fix a laptop, even if was at a loss. This panelwasn't listed as compatible for this Chromebook I had, but those perfect panels were hard to find on Amazon. This one has the same pin out and with a moment of crossing fingers turns out to be a perfect drop in replacement of higher quality finish than the OEM. For about 25 bucks and an hour of labor, we are back in business. Just remember to disconnect battery before you remove display, there are built in fuses that are sensitive. Good luck.
