It is so nice to find an all-metal radiator for a car these days. So many of the radiators made today have either plastic side panels or plastic tops and bottom panels. We needed a new radiator for our 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport and this radiator is a perfect fit for the that space. Only a couple of the top threads were incorrect but that is not unusual for slight variations within some similar models. All we need to do was remove the two unnecessary threaded posts and it's a great fit. Minus the minor customized spots, the installation was fairly easy. The all-aluminum radiator came very well packed with plenty of packing foam. It was well protected and undamaged when it arrived. It is light weight considering its all-metal build. The radiator also came with the transmission cooler elbow connection parts. So, there isn't need to remove the old elbow to place into the new radiator. The welds are completely all around the edges of this radiator to seal everything up tight. Some of these welds seem overdone and not very pretty as if they are done by hand instead of machine welds. The radiator has done very well so far after its installation into the Jeep. There haven't been any radiator fluid leaks whatsoever, so it appears to be well sealed indeed. The heat dissipation appears to be a bit better as well from the full metal construction. I expect that this radiator should perform and last much longer than any of the cheaper partial plastic constructed options on the market. It is a bit pricier than those cheaper models. However, the saying applies, "You get what you pay for." I definitely recommend this or any other all-metal radiators for a car that is going to be kept for decades. 5 Stars.

Eventho this item was packaged very well it came damaged. In the picture you can see the its bent where the hode should be set. Besides that it fits nicely and all items to hook it up were included. Haven't finished installing yet will update when i test it out.

This radiator is different from the radiator I pulled out of my 1990 Jeep Cherokee but it's different in all the right ways. this radiator is similar in the fact that it will just bolt right in and hook right up with maybe a little modification with the transmission cooling lines . The four things I really like about this radiator are #1 this radiator has a radiator cap the other radiator you filled from the overflow tank . #2 the old radiator had one roll of cooling tubes this has three. #3 this radiator is all aluminum Construction the other radiator had plastic tanks. #4 this radiator is brand new spotless inside and out . I haven't installed the radiator yet because of the frigid weather we get living up here near the Canadian border but as soon as it warms up a bit I'll put her in.

This radiator came in a box that was beat to crap. The corners and brackets were poking through the box. Luckily there was no serious damage to the actual radiator. I was able to install it has functioned as expected. It installed fairly easy but I did have to make some adjustments due to shipping damage. It fit as expected.

I got this all aluminum radiator instead of purchasing an oem replacement. This is a much better option since it doesn't have plastic end tanks. It fit good with a few minor adjustments and it's doing a good job keeping the engine cool. If you have overheating problems this probably won't fix them but if you just need a little cooler operating teemps this will do nicely.

If you're a jeep enthusiast, you know that I've tried and true 4.0 6L engine is a great work horse but overheating it could be an issue, especially with the 97+ models. Poor cooling system maintenance, and degraded performance is very likely thing after 20 plus years, however this new three row aluminum radiator helps you run cooler than my Jeep has ever run before!I really liked this as an all metal construction radiator, no plastic end tanks to crack like my last one did.
