The shims are perfectly sized and have a beautiful stainless finish. The only issue I had was due to the fact that I have overlapping hobbies - I forgot about the decorative box, so when I opened the package from Amazon, I found myself trying to remember when/why I ordered a tiny treasure chest for photo props. Then I opened it and found the real treasure, 32 shims of perfectly assorted sizes. So now I'm winning twice, a nice decorative box for my photo prop closet, AND a great set of shims to replace a few crush washers with proper indexing and rocksett.

Really nice assortment of barrel shims. They give you multiple shims across an entire range of thicknesses. This kit should be plenty to adjust many different barrels.Quality is excellent. The dimensions and thicknesses are accurate and they are made from stainless steel as indicated. Interestingly, they ship the shims in a really cool little treasure box. I don't know why it is included, but I really like the box!

i'm working on an old break barrel air rifle that is having some accuracy issues and i was looking for some precision shims that would help reduce the play between reloads. when i saw this shim set, it looked perfect, and when i got it i was really impressed. it came in this beautiful red wood storage box that alone would be worth it, and included a whole assortment of shims. i did have to get a different size too, and they were both consistently high quality with accurate dimensions and perfect finish. each thickness is in a separate bag that is labeled, saving you time and keeping them all well organized. the box is just an added bonus, but i definitely appreciate it. i would highly recommend this precision shim set
