Incredibly Strong
These shelf brackets are the "last word" in terms of strength. The shafts are 1/4" in diameter, for a perfect fit. The "L" that supports the shelf is 1/2" wide and extends into the cabinet a full 3/4". But it's the actual design of the shelf bracket that will instill enough confidence to stack up as many canned goods as your shelves can fit. You see, when the shelf is installed, it actually keeps the bracket firmly inserted in the cabinet holes, making tear-out impossible! Nice!

Purchased these pegs after the movers lost a few of the ones for my living room cabinets. I thought I had measured my current pegs correctly, but was shocked to find out that these pegs are slightly bigger than the ones I needed (6mm). I spoke with the company that made/sent these and even they were surprised to hear there is a 6mm hole out there. Thankfully, after working with them and Amazon, I was able to get these refunded.That being said, they are very well made and I was happy to get the package, until I tried to apply them to my need. I have no complaints about the craftsmanship, color, or design. I do, however, recommend you actually measure the pegs you're replacing better than I did and not just get "close enough" (1/4" is about 6.35mm it seems...just a tad too big).Overall, great product if it fits your needs, excellent customer service, and a good price.

My wonderful husband made me a scrapbook cabinet (designed by my dad) about 20 years ago. We've moved a couple of times since then and the original clips I had to hold the shelves he made have long since disappeared. We tried some of the plastic ones (um, no.... nope nope nope!).I found these on Amazon and have been using them for some time now. They work perfectly!!!They are sturdy, although a bit difficult for me to install without help because of arthritis issues. They hold up my shelves with punches on them just fine. Perfect size, but could not use them in the position shown, as I would have had to shave down my shelves due to the extra 1/16" of metal on each side.Instead, the pegs fit so firmly, I just turned them upside down and let the shelves rest on the top. Problem solved, since none of the other spoon style pegs are the sizes they advertise. I never thought it would be so hard to find the right size peg for my bookshelves after moving. Yes, I did go to the hardware store, same problem.
