This float came in good shape and was easy to inflate. The material feels thick and the non-slip surface actually works. My dog didn’t slide around getting on or off. It stays steady on the water and didn’t tip or fold up weird when he climbed up.

This dog water ramp is going to be such a hit when I take it to the lake this summer! I anticipate not only my dogs using it, but also all the dogs of the campers in the area (because I’m going to secure it to the main public dock). It is super sturdy, easy to inflate, and seems like it will provide just the right amount of grip and stability for dogs to feel comfortable on..We haven’t been able to test it in the water just yet, but on dry land my dogs are perfectly happy to crawl all over it. So I’m quite certain they will have no problems using it to climb out of the water and onto the dockI am going to be using this at the lake, but I could see it being great for pools as well, as long as you have enough room because it is actually quite a big thing. All in all a great product, and it will provide hours of fun this summer as our dogs will more easily be able to join is in all our water adventures.

I can’t emphasize this enough, the quality is fantastic! This is a very sturdy raft that is reinforced to hold up to dog claws. My 70 pound pyrenees mix loves to float in our pool while we swim. The raft she has used before was flimsy and something we had to help her get into. Not this raft though. The built in ramp is ingenious and the cutout for chilling in a little bit of water while she floats is perfect. She knew right away that it was for her and climbed in it like she does with her other raft. This raft is huge, but has a slim design that isn’t bulky. It can be hung up easily on a wall in the garage or shed when not in use. I included a photo of it in front of a standard size interior door for size reference. We are still one month out from pool season up here in the north, so I will update the photos once we open. Overall, the quality is superb and absolutely worth the price point. There is a pump included for easy inflation. There are also tethers and a repair kit. I’m so impressed with this dog raft. I highly recommend!

Solid dog boat for my German shepherd which is a large dog. We took this out for the fist time for the season and it worked very well and floated without major concern. We paddle board often in the summer but didn't really want our dog to be on the same board because his nails scratched the board often, but this boat for his own now allows us to sail together so we're very happy.

I ordered this pool ramp for our dog who is not a water breed and isn’t sure he likes the pool, with the hope that it will help him enjoy it more. He gets very warm in the Texas heat, and we would like to have him join us in the pool to cool off. This floating ramp offers him an easy way to get out of the water with its sloped ramp and fabric “steps” to give his paws grip. I like that there is an area for him to lay in that has a shallow amount of water so he can get wet but not have to be swimming. The float comes with ropes to anchor it to the side of the pool to help stabilize it. The material it is made out of feels durable and looks like it will hold up well to our boy’s nails. I think it's a little on the pricey side, but overall, the construction is very good, and it comes with pretty much everything you need, including a pump. Now all we have to do is help our dog to enjoy it.

We have a floating dock at the cottage, and our poodle has trouble climbing up onto it despite my DIY ramp I tried to make last summer. I think this water ramp is going to be the perfect solution once I secure it to our floating dock. The lake’s still too cold, but the kids and our poodle will be spending hours in the water this summer.As for the quality, it seems very well constructed, very durable, especially the PVC fabric. I like that there’s a non-slip traction pad area, which will give her secure footing to get onto the floating dock from the water ramp. Even though the materials feel quite strong and durable, I'm glad that you also get a little repair kit. Overall, I think this is a very thoughtful design to ensure functionality as well as safety for our pet. Can't wait to put this into use next month.

Works wonderfully in the pool. This is well made and there's attention to the edges that feel nicely reinforced. The pad is a grippy material and I like that the raft can allow for a bit of water or stay dry. Inflating it is easy... they provide a good pump... but I used an electric and it was super fast.Packs down quite small and is very portable as long as you are traveling by car.

This ramp is well made, easy to use. It's not as large as I initially thought, but that's a great thing because I didn't want something huge. My BorderAussie was on it for awhile and it's really stable. She didn't quite master the steps since she is a bit older and needs to try things a few times before she masters them. She will get there. I can see us using this all summer with her. It also came with a carry case so we can deflate it and take it to the doggie beach.

My dog is skittish so we are working with her in the pool before taking her out on the boat. The straps secure it quickly. There are four but we only used two for the pool. She jumps out of it moves too much so four straps will def be better. She can climb up the back ladder and get up with ease, she’s just a bit chicken so her favorite toy helps. It’s super sturdy and she was clawing all over it with no issues with popping or deflating. Excellent value.

This thing worked AMAZING in the pool for our German shepherd and lab. They of course are stingy and only want it to themselves so they took turns. They can relax in the pool now with mom and dad since they’re scared of the water otherwise.

If you have a pool and a dog, this is almost a necessity to help protect your furry friend. I will say that cats have less of a tendency to fall in the water. It's extremely easy to set up and deploy, all you have to do is inflate it, put it in the pool, and secure the lines.Speaking of securing the lines, this is the most important part of installing this ramp. If the ramp floats away from the side of the pool, it's pretty useless. So, it's imperative you secure it to a good location. If you don't have any railings or something to secure the lines to, I highly recommend picking up some screw-in ground anchors that you can put in the ground near the pool in order to have a place to secure the lines.Aside from ground anchors (if you need them), everything is included, including a manual pump. Of course, a power inflator will speed things up and take less effort. The quality seems very good, and the material nice and thick, of course a summer enduring pet nails will be the determining factor. But right now, I'm happy with it, and the only complaint I have is it would be nice if it came with ground anchors for folks that might need them, but I understand not everyone will, so I don't think it's worth a star off.It is a bit on the pricey side, but sometimes can be found on sale or with a coupon, which makes it a really good value. Of course, if it saves a life, it will seem like cheap insurance. So, on that premise, I highly recommend it. 5 stars.

Our dog - a 35lb frenchie/beagle mix is not a strong swimmer, largely due to his body being as dense as water. Even if your dog is capable of swimming without a lifejacket this sort of floating raft is nice to give them a way out of deeper water to raised edges (docks, pools) on their own.Material seems to be double or triple layered along the edges, with reinforced D rings and a handle on one side. The little wading pool/bed area has four plugs and can be left dry or opened for a shallow lounging area...perfect for our dog as he can cool off in the water without going all the way in.The top portion consists of diamond-cut foam, which is soft and lightly textured and doesn't seem to become overly slippery when wet. Gives a dog's nails a bit of a surface to dig into without reaching the inner part.The ramp itself is as long and wide as listed, and definitely resistant to tipping the entire raft from side to side. The ramp is also probably the part that will require the most practice from your dog, as the little stair pockets work but require relatively careful placement of their paws on the way up.The accessories all fine, from two sets of two different lengths of rope to a plastic tube containing a valve wrench and a couple of patches and a pump that looks substantial until you pick it up. Having said that, it does take about a minute of manual pumping to inflate the raft, just keep in mind it's pretty short so if you're over 6 feet tall you will be hunched over in the process.It all stores up in a somewhat flimsy but functional bag, and is useful if you have a dog who likes the water but isn't all that great in it - or just for extra peace of mind or a place for them to relax.
