It will help to hold 90% air, a little air still leaks through thr very bottom of this door stopper, but that's okay if you have carpet.

Used this for my grandparents that constantly complain about the draft from under their door. This product is very simply made but it gets the job done.

I've had issues dealing with drafts and bugs getting into my room. However after putting this in, I've had a lot less draft and bugs. The temperature has been staying stagnant which is good since my room is colder than the rest of the house. Overall it's simple to put together and great to set up so I don't have anything against it. This is one of those products that are simple but easy to use and save you a lot of headache.

I've used several of these products in the past, and they are lifesavers for blocking drafts and bugs from coming through my door. The assembly typically tends to be the most annoying portion of setting it up, but this version is fairly intuitive. You are given a few styrofoam inserts to fill in the product to the desired length, and it easily slides onto the bottom of the door. For this product specifically, there were some strange velcro straps that I wasn't sure what to make of, but overall it did not affect the functionality. An added bonus is that this product seems to add a good bit of sound insulation. Overall, this product works exactly as one would hope and I would highly recommend for people struggling with similar issues.

Item came in six pieces where it should have been 2 pieces of solid foam tube 36' long. Instructions didn't even make sense, tape with this tape then tape with tape (neither of which I could find in box0. Then it said insert in long tube then short tube then long tube. Made me dizzy trying to understand what they were trying to say.

i have this on the door of my hall closet that has no ventilation so i don't want the hot air coming out causing my unit to come on more than needed, this works great for the purpose it was intended, was easy to put together and didn't take long. it definitely traps the hot air into the closet

I am beyond thrilled with this product. I live in an apartment and my door to the outside has a huge gap on the bottom. Drafts and whatever else were getting in. Not a pretty sight. This door stopper was so very easy to measure and set up and it then fit my door perfectly. If it does not fit your door it really isn't the items fault. It is trial and error. Some work better on different surfaces than others. Highly recommend.
