The meter worked for 3 hours and then screen is all blue without any readings. Total waste of my time and money. I do not reccommend this product.

This device works perfectly. Just plug it into your circuit and it works. I even discovered accidentally that its reverse polarity protection works. The only drawback is the display can be difficult to read under bright lighting conditions. Overall I am very happy with it.

Lost a few $250 AGM Aims batteries a while back and not sure what happened.I wasn't checking them but every 2 months. When I did go in the last time, my Genius Charger was unpluged (I think the dogs might have done the unplugging. These are of a good rating and priced right so I replaced them ($480 a pair) but now I check them every few days and now have this monitor and a Good all around batt Tester that shows the battery's Health, charge, etc.

I’m very new to electricity and solar. I read a review that you couldn’t get an mc4 connector on this bad boy. The wires that come out of it are super short. Probably not the highest quality but hey it was $16. Thought I could try it and if it didn’t work, oh well. I had a learning opportunity with a male/female mishap on the receiving/source side and having to do my best to get the metal inner crimped part of without cutting the wire since it was so short I didn’t think I could get them on again if I cut it shorter. With the male/female on the correct wires on the source side, and learning through trial and error that you got to push the metal inner part ALL the way in, I finally got it connected to a source and load…. Then the clouds were being dicks. So I know it works but not the numbers for my system. Moral of the story is… it works and you can put mc4 on it. It’s just pretty difficult if you’re new. Screens a little dim but you can make it work. Lol so far a great $16.

This things seems to work ok but the wires are way too short. There is maybe 2.5" to 3" of wire for the load and source. Someone was obviously trying to save money. What a bad idea! Figure even a power pole connector will utilize a half inch of wire so that leave you with what like 2". I want to lay it flat and plug it into a power pole distribution block (PDB) but don't have enough wire to have it sit flat, next to the PDB.

Now this little thing is the bomb. If you are a solar panel user and a solar system owner and you've been without one of these this will really improve your confidence in your system status. I can run a little .2 amp at the load end of this and it picks it up of course I can run a 600 watt inverter and it picks it up I can tell when my refrigerator is running by looking at this it seems to correspond exactly to the wattage on all of my LED lights so I'm pretty sure that it's accuracy is right there. It tells you the exact voltage of your battery Bank and if you wanted to use it for your panels you could do it that way too. I just use a $1 LED readout for my panels though I just don't need that. It remains lit at all times if you wanted it dimmed you would toss a rag on top of it I suppose. When you shut down at night if there's anything running at all I don't care if it's just one of those little tiny .2 amp 12v fans that are one inch across on the other side of the house in the hamster cage it will let you know. If you leave something on accidentally you can see it here. That's the rub.

I used this for a display on my diy electirc skateboard. I mounted it on the top of my battery box and I can glance down and visibly see the output, which was what I was nervous about not being able to see in bright sunlight. It has a bunch of data displayed, maybe even too much, but the important things are displayed largely. I'm not sure if it can really handle 200A, but it handles 80 fine!

Used to check performance parameters of electric motors for RC planes. When used with a thrust-measuring device, you can accurately evaluate various motor/propeller combinations. In a given run, it stores the maximum watts and amps as well as the minimum battery voltage reached during heavy current draw. Note: It does not come with connectors - you must provide the type you need and solder them onto the lead wires.

The wires on this product are so flimsy that it's impossible to seat them inside of an mc4 connector. it's like trying to take a limp piece of spaghetti and trying to get it to snap inside the MC for connector, there's just absolutely no structure to the wire itself. The manufacturer obviously use the cheapest crap wire they could find to save money and it shows. if you buy this product you will be extremely disappointed that you wasted your money when you could have bought something of higher quality. do not waste your time with this product because I promise you you will absolutely regret it.
