I have attached this to my Weimaraner Catahoula. For the past two years to drag thru the forest, sand, mud. Too this day it functions properly. Kanati is 65lbs pure muscle and faster then superman he has worn this the best he can and it has not failed . I wish I still had the old clips mangled destroyed snapped he would destroy anything to get to me including metal cages. His collar stays with this clip. He has break away collar but all other clips break before this point. I know that the point of this clip is climbing But, this is to let you know this is not Junk! It is just faded. Good Product .

Yes, I have had to do that a few times; for a few minutes. One time, when walking the dog in the AM and coming across an accident, needed to attach the dog to a pole while I go render assistance.

Very nice! Secure locking, and the shape helps to keep them in place and oriented properly on rope or metal attachments. Shipping was fast and the bright color is a good contrast to most backgrounds!

This item has been great ever since I got it. Its light weight yet durable strength has yet to fail me whether I'm using it to strap gear to my bag or hag a camping hammock to a tree. The vibrant color is also a good feature of this item.

These are nice. I got these as a clip for extra lanyards and keys so I cannot comment on the climbing aspect. It easily locks and you can untwist it with one hand... it’s a bright color and fits in your hand nicely.

Well made like everyone says. I chose the manual screw lock because it is easier with one handed operation than the auto lock but either looked good. I use them with my harness for climbing trees so I will update if I fall and it catches me. If you don't see an update, it either means I did not fall, or it did not catch me :)!
