Bought this kit for a custom project I'm working on in our RV. The kit is well designed and overall good quality except for one thing I wasn't expecting - The wood slats that make up the door are constructed of some type of hardboard (basically compressed cardboard) with a microscopically thin wood veneer. The slats are less than 1/4" thick, would it really have cost the manufacturer that much more to use solid wood? For a kit with a wooden dowel, plastic tracks, and sells for $80?I will add that the company provides excellent customer service. The rep I talked to was very knowledgeable and even emailed me documents that helped with the design and installation on my project.My review would've been five stars if not for the cheap veneer slats
