I prefer these wall anchors to most of the other options out there. I've had good success with them and they are very easy to use. Recommended.

The easiest wall anchors I’ve ever used and hold a good amount of weight each. My forever go to.

Full lifecycle review and I have nothing but good things to say. I used two of these to hold up a wall-mount wine rack which held 12 bottles of wine without issue. I took them down a few years later and they came right out with an easily-patched notched hole in the wall.

These are the ones you want. No drilling needed. Hammer them in and they stay put while you put in a screw. Nice design. Hangs tough. I've been using them all over my house for years.

I needed an anchor to affix a wooden hat rack on a 24 inch section of hollow wall and decided to give this one a go despite the mixed reviews (I have tried many others in the past with limited success). To overcome the potential for bending the anchor as it's nailed into the wall, I predrilled a very small hole first to make it easier to drive the anchor home; worked perfectly! The problem arose when I came to affix the hat rack: it was immediately apparent that the provided screws would not be long enough to reach into the anchor. I couldn't see any way this anchor could be used to fix a wooden anything, unless it was very thin. I then read the very small print on the back of the box and saw the instruction that the anchor can only be used for items no thicker than 1/8th of an inch! Which probably limits you to each a strip of metal or plastic. There's no mention of this limitation among the product specifications on the Amazon page.

As long as there isn't a stud behind sheet rock, these go into wall easily with a little tapping with hammer! Very strong once you add the screw, holds up well and doesn't strip.

Love these things and they work great! One recommendation, if your using a screw gun, go slow at first. I found if your running the screw in too quickly it has a habit of trying to "twist" the anchor. Take your time, allow the screw to drive in straight and allow the anchor to work like it should. Other reviews state that the anchor twists and makes holes in the wall; I have not run into this issue and have used many of these. A little pricey but a great time saver.

In the time span of the last year, have used these anchors on several projects partly because they seemed sturdy and could hold weight well as well as being extremely easy to install; two hanging small hanging dish racks I use as shelves, anchors for a kitchen shelf brackets and a floating wire basket to hold my kindling (used with large small-holed washers to secure the basket.) I have been very pleased so far. They have held up well and easy to hide as they go flush with the wall and I usually have brackets covering them. I have never removed any of these WallClaw anchors, but I do imagine it would leave a good size (almost dime-sized) hole if you are worried about that.
