I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools. Crank damper pulley installer kit for newer style cars, works with most domestic made cars (may work with other cars lines as well) that utilize this style of front crank pulley. Appears to be a heavy design, has the needed longer length rod for installation of the crank pulley. Kit comes with a storage case to keep it organized, unfortunately it uses a folding plastic hinge which does not last versus a pinned hinge that does last a long time. Kit does come with an instruction sheet, but it leaves a lot to be desired. A modern installer kit that every tool box should have. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

Gets the job done. Threads look good, was a little dirty in the box but that's ok. Like the case. Barring is really cheap and loose.

Worked great with my chevy truck. Well made item and durable. Easy to use and made installing crankshaft a bit easier. Good fit and good value for price. Do recommend.

Nice multiple brand kit, make sure you lube the bearing. It comes well oiled but these cheaper kits tend to get damaged easily, especially if using an impact.

solid castings. its not a super high end unit you would see on the tool tray of a GM certified technician. comes with everyhting you need; which is a very simple process. for the diy grease monkey. it is a very handy tool to have and given the price is a no regret buddy to have in the shop.

It amazes me that no matter how many tools we have, there is always something we need to get.And so it went with a Dodge. The balancer had to be replaced. The axiom that it is always easier to take something apart than to put it together again holds true. I thought I would be able use a long enough bolt. Except nobody had a long enough bolt.This kit at Amazon cost about the same as a kit does locally, for just the Dodge. The assortment of installation bolts will cover most of the vehicles we encounter.The balancer is on and the car is out of our life for now.5 stars for a reasonably priced kit.
