Lift Support Installation Method
1.Lift the Hatch or Hood of the Car
When replacing the lift bracket, find something to keep
the hatch, hood, trunk or rear window open.
2.Detachable Ball Connector
Use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry on the retaining ring,
cap lock, or safety lock ring to remove the old lift bracket.
Press the new lift bracket onto the ball stud and install the
retainer properly.
3.Eyelet Connector
Remove the old lift bracket by unscrewing the mounting
bolts or removing the retaining clips. Reinstall the new
lift bracket using the mounting bolts or retaining clips.
4.Retaining Clip
Pry off the retaining clips and remove the old lift bracket.
Install a new lift bracket by pressing on the vehicle mounting
studs until the clips click into place
