These are nice plastic (ABS) bone folders. They are thin on the front and thick in the back. The thin part is used to put creases in folds, and then used on top of the fold to flatten it and make it a permanent crease. These are great for leathercraft. I generally use genuine bone folders—not plastic—but these work great and are very strong (no bending, no breaking). The handle end is easy to hold. Besides folding these can be used with a straight edge for marking leather as well (I always go very light just in case). When gluing leather edges together it is good to have a tool like this to go over the top of the seam to ensure solid adhesion. Receiving two at this price point is great just in case I ever break one. Overall a great tool at a great price for a multitude of crafts. Recommended!
