Liked that it fit and did not take long to install. Instructions were to the point.There were two small metal pieces that were included but not referenced. They’re just stops to use IF the pistons fail

Came with instructions, with pictures! The shocks are surprisingly strong. Probably took me 20 minutes to install. It actually came with a bracket to relocate the hood prop keeper which made me really happy because I didn't want to delete it but unfortunately it didn't come with hardware for it so I will source a nut and bolt for that but I didn't even think that was coming so no problem.

I attempted to install the struts on my Nissan Frontier. I have a buddy who has been a mechanic for over 30 yrs help at his home shop. Just attempted the one side for fit and bolted on with no real problems, until....A test close was attempted and the noises that were coming from the mounting plate on the hood made my hair stand on end. There was an all stop to the process. If both are installed and you close the hood, it will bend the hood and ruin your paint for starters. Then there is the whole hood alignment thing if it slips. Not recommending this product. Buyer beware.

This item was installed on a 2017 Nissan FRONTIER Quad Cab "S" Model, V6. I would recommend "dry fitting" the pieces first as placing the right piece in the right place may be the most difficult part of the install. For this particular vehicle, the existing bolts (12mm) are reused. I painted my bolts black to match the supplied strut pieces. 30 days later I have seen no discernible miss-alignments or heard any rattles. Seems to be durable material. So far so good. Will update if/as needed.

I would actually give a 4 rating for install as there were no instructions. Search of google revealed several post on how to install. First light took over 30 minutes, second light took only 10 minutes (after I figured out what to do). Works great. Looks great. Shipped in minimal time.
