Rectifier bridge belongs to semiconductor devices, its chip itself has internal resistance, and will generate heat when using.
Single-phase rectifier bridges and heat sinks are assembled and used together to help dissipate heat from the bottom plate of the rectifier bridge and prolong its service life.

This is a nicely designed three phase AC to DC rectifier mounted on a well sized heat sink. The unit does not come with a wiring diagram, and while a schematic is printed on the side of the rectifier, you can't readily see it because of the heat sink fins. However, the wiring diagram appears on this page, so I simply printed that out and used it as reference while wiring the unit. The unit works properly within the specifications provided here. Note that this unit will not work properly with standard household AC, which is single phase; you need a true three phase AC source to wire it up and have it work correctly.

One of them is a wind generator which produces 3 phase AC power which needs to be rectified before it can charge batteries. This rectifier is perfect for that and has a nice big heat sink already attached to it. The price is reasonable and is similar to some inferior ones that I have purchased in the past. This is a good quality rectifier at a reasonable price.
