These were a gift, for carrying with you daily. They are terrific. Small, light weight and I keep mine in my purse. I use it at least once a week when I am out and about or even when I am home and I need to do a quick measure and dont want to deal with the phone app, and dont want to haul out my big metal measuring tape. Its perfect for the quick measure and then get on with your project/plan.

I bought these because of the shape and appeal. I am a Neurodiagnostic Technology Student and we use these tape measures when prepping for EEGs. Everyone generally had the same round tape measures and I kept losing mine or getting them mixed up with others, so I chose this product because of its unique square shape. It pulls out and retracts well, and the measurements are accurate. I also like that it has a little lanyard on it, and when I wipe it down with alcohol, the marks don't smear or fade. For a 4-pack, I thought it was a great deal too.

These tape measurers are very pretty. I liked the packaging and they arrived in a timely manner. I would have given this product 5 stars if it weren't for the button that retracts the tape. There isn't anything wrong with the button, however, I use these tape measurers to measure infants' head circumferences and their lengths at a Pediatric Clinic, and I usually use the centimeter side of the tape to get a more accurate measurement. But I hold the tape measurer in my left hand, and use my right hand to pull the tape around the baby's head. The button to retract the tape is usually on the bottom side of the centimeter part of the tape which makes it easy for me to use my middle finger to retract the tape after measuring. The way the Scettar tape measure is designed, the retract button is on the top where the centimeter measurement is so it made it very difficult to measure infants comfortably for me personally. These are the first set of tape measurers that I have come across that are designed this way but other than that I think this product is great and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested.

I was very pleased when I received these. They are well made, accurate, pocket sized, and come in really lovely colors. Just what I needed, and so reasonably priced. I like that the US and metric measures are on different sides (front and back.)
