We have ceramic farmhouse sinks, & I love them, but they're showing their age. We could fix them, but eh - they still have some life left to live, & it gives the kitchen character.That said, one of the ways I relax - no joke! - is washing dishes. It's calming for me, & I'm good at it! But I realized some years ago I love the "dishpan method" of having two tubs in the sink - one for soaking/washing, & one for cleaning. This is used in the restaurant industry (I've never worked in a restaurant, granted!) to get dishes clean safely & efficiently.Previously I'd been using two plastic tubs I got at a big box store, but they stain easily & they weren't as sturdy as I would have liked.I was a few days away from replacing them with new tubs, but I saw what a great deal these were & I scooped them up as soon as I saw them.The stainless steel is super premium & sturdy, & it doesn't stain or scratch, or smell! They fit in our sink well - maybe they're a little big, truthfully, but it's no problem. They clean super well & dry nicely, so I can take them in & out of the sink if I need to.I know these are also good for serving food, so I can't wait to use them later in the summer to store & carry condiments outside. I also think these would be great for making & mixing cold pasta in, or keeping BBQ hot! These don't have lids, but that's perfectly fine with me - I don't see it as a disadvantage.The uses for these tubs are endless & the fact that they're stainless steel means they're super easy to clean & disinfect. Just today I washed a very small dog in one & while giving a dog a bath is always an adventure, having her in a compact space really helped me.I never knew I needed commercial wash bins, but they're an unexpected win, truly.

This review iss for the 4 Packs Stainless Steel Commercial Bus Tub –13 L Heavy Duty Utility Tote Box for Dishwashing, Meat Prep, and Kitchen Storage – Large Capacity Restaurant Bus Box (Without Lid).I try really hard to only get the best good quality items that will last, so I was super happy to see this 4 pack of stainless steel tubs/pans in my offers and grabbed them! Just got them and I'm happy to say I love these! I know they list them as bus pans, but they're good for so much than that! These are a great size being 17.7 X 13.7 X 4 inches deep! I finally have the perfect pans to marinate large amounts of meat, mix up large amounts of ground meat for homemade meatballs, great for large casseroles, nice deep dish lassagna, large amount of twice baked mashed potatoes, mac N cheese, stuffing...! These are nice looking sturdy pans with a nice rolled edge all the way around with a good lip for handling them, rounded corners... pretty sure these will fit in my chafing dishes too! So these are awesome to make ahead large amounts of stuff for holiday meals, BBQ's/cookouts, family get togethers. potlucks... These should last a long time! I do wish they came with lids, but for the price I don't think you can beat them! And you caan use aluminum foil or plastic wrap. These are sturdy enough to stack them crisscross on top of each other too, when not in use they nestle nicely inside each other to store them. They're large for some uses, like serving food. They're smaller than many bus containers, the ones I see in use in restaurants which seem to all be plastic.But they're not too large to be manageable, at least for most. I very much like the not-to-big size. Mine are for the front of my deep pantry shelves. They allow me to move a block of things all at once to reach things in the back. It makes the using the pantry easier.The material, including its weight, the rolled edges (no sharp edges), and the appearance are all good. They're easy to clean either washing by hand or in the dishwasher.These are very versatile and can be used for many things.

These pans are pretty thick and heavy. They are definitely "heavy duty". I got a similar pan a few months back and remarked that it doesn't appear to be true stainless steel but rather a stainless-colored coating over [presumably] mild carbon steel. That pan has held up perfect to many solvents, including acetone, so whether or not it is true stainless steel is not particularly relevant to me personally. These pans in this listing appear to have this same coating on them. It is perhaps a baked-on coating, like powder coating. Either way, it seems to be fairly robust and durable. If the coating ends up failing on me, I'll update this review accordingly, but as of now I'm not concerned.I am however docking a star for the grossly understated dimensions. These are NOT 17.7" x 13.7" x 4". They are 15.5" x 11.5" x 4", and those are exterior dimensions...these pans have a pretty wide lip. The dimensions stated in the listing are not even remotely close to being correct. This is more than a unit conversion issue from metric to imperial. This is a great way for the seller to tank his reviews, so he needs to update the dimensions ASAP.
