Very robust, reflective covers are easy to spot at night. Installation is easy.
They fade really fast and rip easy.

Looked great when I got them, but only lasted about a month. They started ripping on the very first boat load and started fading in less than a month.

Fits perfectly. Many folks commented and wanted to know where to buy. No scratches on the boat will be buying another pair for. My other trailer

These are a nice addition to your guide poles and add some reflective visibility which is often lacking on boat trailers. I did have to remove the top caps of my post which wasn't an issue on my trailer, but if you had lights wired in at the top, you would not be able to use these without modification.I also don't know how the color will hold up to the sun. While I try to store my boat inside during the winter, in the summer the boat is in the water and the trailer is in a storage lot with the sun beating down on it - will be interested to see how long these hold up before fading.Overall, a nice addition though and if you are looking to add some visibility, this is a nice way to do it.

I was skeptical at first, but it was easy to install, seems durable, and I like the look.

36 Inch Boat Trailer Guide Pole Pad and Cover with Capped End and Reflective Stripe for Ski Boat, Fishing Boat or Sailboat TrailerI received these guide pole pads for free from Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest review. So far, I really like these pads. They look so much better that the plain white guide posts I have on my trailer. The outer material seems pretty tough. A previous owner for my boat must have lost the original cap for one of the posts and replaced it with a plumbing cap. This cap is about a half inch thicker in diameter than the original. Because of this, I had a bit of difficulty getting the pad to slide onto the pole. After I got it about halfway down, I had to pull on the padding on the inside and ended up tearing the bottom of the pad. I think I could have done myself a favor and sprayed the cap with some WD40 before trying to put it on. Another thing that contributed to my difficulties was the fact that the pads arrived folded into quarters. The spots where it had been folded made it much harder to pull over the top of the guide pole. I wish they had just left them straight and shipped them in a long thin box. It would have made things a little easier. I had the same problem on the other pole where the pads had been folded. Ultimately, I did get them on, and they look good. Now I don’t have to worry about the guide poles leaving white marks on my boat if I rub against them while loading.

I got these to use on my utility trailer to haul my fishing kayak, where I can route some PVC pipes through them to provide a good rolling type padded storage for them on the deck that won't mar the bottom of the kayak. But I am sure that they will work equally well as pole covers on boat trailers. The have a thick denier canvas cover over a basic foam pad on the inside. The stiching seems pretty good and they do feel quite sturdy based on initial impressions. No complaints and I am sure that they will get the job done.
