It stand well. Functions well. Looks nice when it is fanning. Good value for the price. Good fanning. Sustaining weight. The size is about right. I don't know if it really helps with the flies, but i don't see flies when I have it.

It was used during a cookout and placed on the table where the food was. It did nothing to keep the flies away.

We had our wedding reception outside. I was trying to figure out how to get rid of the flies. We didn’t have a lot but the worked as fans also. They were also use at a barbecue on a ranch. They worked great. They also make a great conversation peace.
