This is probably not a set I would pay full price for. I measured the liquid volume and it does hold 16 oz, to the very top of the glass. The bamboo/wood lid has a strong smell. I don't trust the coating on the lid to be food safe. The lid on my set was drilled poorly, leaving a gap between the lid and the silicone piece that keeps the straw in place. The shoddy workmanship makes it look like a cheap dollar store item. The glass straws are shorter than any of the other reusable straws that I own (I'm in California, land of the reusable straw... I have a collection of metal, glass and plastic reusable straws). The glass itself is VERY thin. It is listed as being borosilicate glass. There are pros and cons to this, borosilicate glass can handle temperature changes better than "regular" soda glass, but it is brittle andsusceptible to breaking when dropped. I'm not sure how well this glass will stand the test of time. I really like that the set comes with a straw cleaning brush - no one wants to drink out of dirty straws!

I had one of these previously but it broke so I got this one to replace it. I like that it's unadorned which means I can decorate it myself as I own a Cricut machine. This glass is easy to wash in the dishwasher and it comes with a small brush to hep you clean the straw. Only downside for me is that the straw is glass; I'm not a fan of them as they break easily! They do give you two straws though for that purpose (and I don't think that's an issue with the quality of this product, it's just the nature of glass straws, ya know?) The lid fits on well, although I would handwash that rather than put it in the dishwasher. Overall, these could make really nice gifts for teachers - just add some drink packets and/or small bottle of booze to get their summer vacay kicked off!

I was concerned about the packaging as the glass straws were on top of the Styrofoam packaging, but the glass straws arrived unbroken. The seller incorrectly indicates that there is only 1 glass straw and 2 cleaning brushes, however, I received 2 glass straws and 1 cleaning brush - and I think that's great. The glass straws reach all the way to the bottom of the glass cup. The seller indicates that this glass cup is food grade glass and dishwasher safe and can contain beverages that are both hot and cold. The seller does indicate that this glass can sustain boiling water. The lid is made from bamboo and has a silicone ring to secure the lid to the cup. This coffee cup is made from borosilicate glass. The cup is break resistant, but I wouldn't test that out. It's a very cute glass cup and would make a nice gift for someone or for yourself. And the price is excellent.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE! A must have for my everyday drinks! These cups make me so happy from their aesthetic to the durability. I will probably buy more

The glass is the perfect size for me for water or iced coffee, and the lid seals tightly. The straws work perfectly and I haven't noticed any weird tastes like with rubber or metal ones. I only hand wash so I'm not sure how they'd do in the dishwasher but it's quick and easy with a brush or sponge. Great value for a daily drink!

The cup quality is what you would expect. I hand wash it and have not put it in the dishwasher so I can’t honestly say how it would hold up if you did. I enjoy using it when I make a nice ice coffee.
