While a bit on the pricey side for playing cards, the gift is worth it. Got it as a gift for my father-in-law for his 50th b-day (aka '75) and he thought these were really nice. Great for someone in your life that likes trivia and playing card games - it combines both. Each face card has a little trivia question and picture on it and then in the pack theres an answer key too so it's cool to play rummy and have questions to ask everyone as a form of added fun!

These are super-fun. I would say they were more designed for someone who graduated from high school in 1975 than someone who was born in 1975, because they would have experienced the trivia topics at some level. The trivia was easy, but not too easy. (More of a trip down memory lane than a challenging competition) As playing cards, they are probably not sturdy enough to last a long time. If you graduated in 1975, these would be an ideal take-along to the 50th reunion.

These are good quality cards and make a fun gift for anyone who loves trivia! If you're born the year they are made, you'll probably have a tough time with the trivia on the cards but they would also be great for anniversaries or to collect multiple years and mix them up!

If you want a fun, one-time romp through memories of 1975, these cards will do the job, albeit at a somewhat inflated price. If you want a deck of playing cards, look elsewhere. These cards are standard size, but not quite as slick as other new decks. Most of the images on the cards are good, but some are too dark and/or appear to be low resolution. I wouldn't use them as playing cards because, as you can see from the image, the trivia question and the image sometimes obscure a lot of the face of the card, making it harder to see at a glance what cards you are holding. It's fun to test your memory of events from 50 years ago, but not worth the price for either the trivia nor the deck of playing cards.

My wife and I are huge fans of trivia games. We watch all of the trivia TV shows we can find, we test each other on music all the time, and we go to play pub trivia whenever possible. Naturally, when I saw this deck of cards with trivia on them from 1975, the year my wife was born, I had to buy themEven though time for fun and games is not as plentiful as we would like we still find time for trivia. These cards have provided us with hours of enjoyment. It has been fun asking her questions specific to the year she was born. We both love showing each other our useless knowledge so these cards were a definite hit. We both actually have learned a bunch of new things about the 1970s.The cards are high quality, and are great to use for the trivia and for regular competitive games of cards. These will be used often, and I am actually in the process of looking for these cards for my birth year, and my son's birth year as well.50th Birthday Trivia Cards – 1975 Flickback Deck – Gift for Men or Women Born in 1975 – Fun 50th Birthday Game, Vintage 1975 Playing Cards with Trivia Questions – Gift for Mom Dad Husband Wife

This is a nice set of playing cards full of trivia about the year 1975. They're really fun to look through, either to learn more history or to reminisce; I was familiar with some of the facts, but many were new to me. The set contains a full deck of playing cards, each of which has a question about a 1975 event on in. In addition there is a cover card and two cards that have the answers to the trivia questions. You'll need to make sure you hang on to the answer cards, otherwise the trivia won't be as fun. They are a standard 2.5x3.5 inches and printed on sturdy material. The only thing I don't like is that they don't come with the standard paperboard/cardboard box to slip the cards into. Instead they come in a very brittle and highly breakable plastic box. Mine was already shattered upon arrival, and looking at it I could tell that it's a plastic that wouldn't last long under normal circumstances. I would prefer the much more durable and classic paperboard box.
