The TIONLCLC drum cover is made of 420D durable oxford fabric via an exclusive high-density weaving process using high saturation spinning and dyeing. I'm very disappointed in this rain barrel cover. It doesn't come down very far onto the barrel (the skirt is only about 4 inches) making it extremely insecure... even with the elastic band tightened. The first rain storm came and the wind blew it straight off of the barrel. I tried securing it several more times but it would just blow right back off again.If your barrel is kept somewhere where the wind does not reach, that would be the only way I would recommend it. While the material is nice, thick, and water resistant, it does not function well outdoors due to the looseness.

This cover is exactly as it is stated. It does fit over a 55 gallon drum easily. However, I have one with smooth sides and there is nothing for this to "grip" on to ensure it stays in place. While there is a draw string, without a lip or some means of gripping, this can and does slip off easily. I would like to have seen some level of non-slip on the inside of the cover. Instead, I needed to use a few short screws to create a lip for it to grab onto.It will be interesting to see how long it lasts as mine is located in direct sun .

I ordered this cover because I am tired of periodically cleaning leaves and dirt from my two 55-gal blue barrels. The barrels sit in a covered outdoor shed, but leaves and dirt still accumulate.This cover is made of thick (although not very thick) fabric that is reflective on the inside and black on the outside. I would have preferred the other way around. I would not recommend using it in direct sun, as it will likely deteriorate over time from heat and UV. The cover fits acceptably well. It is a bit too large for the blue water barrel, but it does the job.The cover seems to be made for cylindrical metal drums. You can fit it securely by folding the skirt upward and tying the string around the groove in the barrel.

These feel tough and well-made, and they fit snugly over my 26-inch (55 gallon) barrels without any hassle.They’ve held up well through a couple of storms so far, with no tearing, no water pooling on top. I also appreciate having two in the pack; it’s a solid deal for the price. The clips are plastic, so I'm wondering how they'll hold up in the sun.I'm unsure they're going to stop any animals or insects that try and get in, so I've added a piece of screening to the barrel opening, just in case.So far, it's been a reliable cover to keep leaves and debris out of my rain barrels.
