Real Steel
These brackets use an "L" shaped member that's permanently riveted to a 5mm pin. This design makes tear-out practically impossible because once installed, the shelf itself forces the supports to stay put, no matter what the load.
Perfectly Sized
The shafts of these supports have tapered ends (to simplify installation), and are 3/8" in length. That's plenty long for a good "bite" into the cabinet sides, while allowing the possibility of having shelves on opposite sides of a 3/4" center partition. Each bracket is 1/2" wide and projects into the cabinet a full 11/16", a very useful feature in case your shelves are a bit undersized!

Product is fine but the pegs are 4mm NOT 5mm as advertised. They fell right out of the 5mm holes in my cabinet.

These are a bit longer than those that came with our shelves. That’s a good thing because these are stronger and longer, giving much better support.

I got new cabinets with the most convoluted shelf brackets. I replaced them with these. Fit well, easy to adjust.

We bought these metal bracket shelf support pegs from Dugan Hardware because of an accident where a lot of antique stemware got damaged due to old, original plastic shelf pins breaking and dumping the shelf contents. There had to be a better way and I took a chance on a batch of 25 of these shelf support pegs and I am glad I did! They are an exact match for existing cabinet shelf holes, and require no extra drilling. They fit snugly, are strong and give the cabinets a nice finished look too. I am so pleased that I plan to replace all of our plastic shelf supports with these new Nickel pegs.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I had bought some at the hardware store but they only had one size and I assumed that they came in only one size. Well, I was wrong. The ones from the hardware store did not fit so I turned to amazon. I found these in a slightly smaller size and they fit my shelves perfectly. They are very sturdy and just like the ones that originally came with the furniture (Sligh brand). I bought the shelves second hand but they are solid wood, very nice quality bookshelves. So happy to find the right supports because I needed quite a few. The only problem was that I needed just a few more but I think they come in a pack of 25. I guess I'll just have extra for the next time.

Well made, fit fairly well, and give me a better sense of security. It would be a disaster if these did not hold up. Only gripe is that, the part that goes into the cabinet hole is a little too long for my cabinets. So in other words, they stick out. This made inserting the shelves a HUGE pain. The shelves have been up a couple of weeks now, and I'm happy with the results. I still keep an eye on them since they don't fully insert into the cabinet holes.

Bought these shelf supports as well as some 1/4 inch ones. (I wasn't sure of the correct size for my needs, but at this price it doesn't hurt to have extras of either size.) These are good solid brackets... better than anything you'd find in Home Depot. I am currently using them to replace missing supports in an etagere with glass shelves that has some expensive items in it, and I can't afford for the shelves to fall. I totally trust these brackets, they are solid and nicely made. I had some questions and the seller (a Mom and Pop company) answered promptly. Great customer service! So many items use shelf supports, and they're easy to lose so it's nice to have extras on hand. They are also very nicely packaged in an easily storable and labeled small cardboard box, which means they'll be easy to find next time I need them.
