This disc brake caliper set worked great on our go-cart project. Fits nicely, stops the cart. Good quality parts, don't anticipate any problems with them.

You may have seen other kits that look exactly like this one. Your eyes do not deceive you. There are dozens of different companies selling the same thing. These used to be over $60. I bought quite a few of them at that price. They are way down now. This one is below $40, which is a deal for what you get.I have dozens of these kits on minibikes. They work great. I've been using them for years now. I used to use a clutch drum system, and it didn't work very well. This was a massive upgrade.I'd imagine two of these would stop a go kart well too. I don't know if one would be enough, especially if it's a larger go kart, but two should do.These have no problem stopping a minibike, even when it's on the rear and it's the only brake. If you pair this with some sort of front brakes, it works even better.
