Holds fingers from moving. Can slip while using at night during sleep. Sometimes it limits what you can do with your hand, but that’s the point.

I have to wear one of these for 12 weeks. I was 3 weeks in when I ordered these. The different sizes help with preventing sores and allow me to change them out regularly. They are sturdy and easy to use.

At first I was annoyed that the Velcro kept catching on my sweater, but upon closer look I realized the Velcro can be easily flipped around so the soft part points out. It is oh so slightly less comfy this way, but it isn’t really noticeable (it’s a micro Velcro). The brace works as expected. Definitely a step up from my tongue depressor DIY version!

Bought this for a finger fracture to keep it protected and immobilized.Pros:- You have a variety of different sizes for your needs.- I used the one sided splint for things like showering and washing dishes, then let it dry. It held up well in the water.- It does the job of keeping my finger protected and immobilized.- They are comfortable.Cons:- The velcro catches on everything. Beware if you are folding laundry or even sleep with it on. It gets very annoying after a while, and can pull at certain clothes /blankets/etc and mess them up. My solution was cutting the finger off of an old glove and putting that over the splint. You shouldn't have to do this though.A simple solution would have been to not have the exposed tabs with the hard part of the velcro exposed, but it is what it is.So, 3 stars for doing the job, 2 stars off for the annoying velcro.

These splints were just the ticket to keep my thumb straight as it healed. I would buy again.

I purchased this product due to tendonitis in my right-hand index finger. It does keep you finger immobilized, but you have to take it off to rest/exercise your finger as it can get a little stiff causing discomfort. Overall, a good product if you are trying to not overwork your figure due to a sprain or inflammation flare-up.
