This stuff is amazing. It expands greatly and goes a long way in filling pots. I'm pleased with this purchase. I also bought the larger size.

A green thumb gardener, recommended we get mulch for the summer months, in Arizona. So bought this mulch and it is awesome. I garden in a raised bed and planters and the mulch is perfectly sized, great color and really does help. I bought a second bag I was so happy. Highly recommend.

This soil comes in a tight compact bag. Once you add the water, it becomes easy to scoop. No more bulky bags of soil for me. This is so easy to store once your done adding the souk to your plants.

I read the description before my purchase but was still surprised at how much it bulked up and was able to do more planting than I thought possible 0nce I added the water. Very pleased.

Perfect to use for Mother’s Day with my students. I didn’t have to lug in a big heavy bag of soil. One bag did 25 small pots plus there was quite a bit left. A great value, and the soul expanded quickly and was good quality.

This soil is okay, and I buy it occasionally. However, it is not fine soil. It has a lot of large chunks of wood chips, or I should say wood sticks, in it. It is not good for starting seeds with. If you have adult plans you are wanting to transplant, this might work for you. I use it for a container garden of vegetables.

Love: Solid product. The indoor plants love it. It’s easy to work with and the instructions are clear. Stores nicely prior to opening due to its small size.Downside: Recommend having a bucket to store the remaining as it will not fit in its original bag (appreciate the limited used of plastic, though).Mixed feelings: Haven’t had luck with roses nor cedars from seeds, but the peas popped off.

I've used Back to the Root's seedling soil before and was happy to see their compressed soil had the same, great quality. This product is mostly coconut coir as noted on the packaging. Its well shredded and I personally mixed it with some compost for my flower pots. The instructions are simple - mix with 10 cups of water, stir the coir and apply more water until the mix is full decompressed. It took less than 10 minutes to get it full.In the original package, the soil is no bigger than a thick book. That is very convenient for storing soil around if you had smaller space. Its a fair balance at this price range!
