It does not work. I waited for the laminator to heat up. The green LED lit up. I think the laminator either is not hot enough or the plastic is just lousy. The plastic does not stick to the paper. I did return the unit.

I pulled this out of the box and immediately used it. It was so easy to figure out. The laminating sheets that come with it are very heavy duty. It was easy to put my paper in between the sheet and feed it through.

I was so excited to get this so I could start laminating everything around my house…only to discover I don’t actually have that much that needs laminating! What a letdown! This is such a fun little machine. It does the trick for occasional at-home use. It’s also goof-free as long as you don’t try to laminate something thick. This is for thin paper, y’all. Don’t be trying to laminate your favorite watercolor painting. Think social security cards, insurance cards, that kind of thing. One issue that took a star away is that it doesn’t explain when you should use hot versus cold laminating. I don’t know, so hot it is.

I'm providing this review as part of the Amazon Vine program which provides a free program in exchange for an honest review. I got this laminator because I have a few things around the house where I think it would be useful to laminate and protect the paper. I didn't want a product that was going to take up a whole lot of space, because I don't have a lot of space in my office, so this item is really perfect. It comes with laminating paper varying sizes to get you started. As far as setup, it really couldn't be easier. All you have to do is plug it in and turn it on and wait for it to heat up or ready itself. If you're using the cold setting. I laminated a few sheets. For some. I used the hot setting and for others I used the cold setting. I'm really not sure what the difference is, except I did notice that one. I used the hot setting when the laminated paper came out on the other side it came out kind of curled up. I found I get the best results when I turn the machine on and put it on the heat setting and then when it's ready place it back on the cold setting and run the paper through the machine. I guess you could say you end up with kind of a medium heat. That way. I've been using one of the laminated sheets outside near my pool area to remind me how many drops of solution I need to add to each test. The laminated sheet has stood the test of time and inclement weather and a lot of sun and is showing no sign of failure. So, I couldn't be happier with this product and I'm thinking of more and more places where I could take advantage of laminating a piece of paper that is used often. This is one of those gadgets that is so helpful to have, and you don't know how helpful it can be until you have one! For the price, you really can't beat this laminating machine, especially if you just have a few jobs here and there. I can't speak to how well the machine would hold up if you have a lot of laminating to do, because I just don't have that kind of volume.
