This cooler is perfect for use on the boat! We have two live wells on our pontoon boat, one of which we use for ice and drinks. This one is perfect for ice packs and meat that we grill on the boat with. It hangs over the side perfectly, and it adjusts so that it sits up straight when hung on the railing. It's a nice, durable hard-shell cooler, which will last for a very long time. It keeps the food cold all day with the ice pack in it. It's very well insulated. It's a bit small, but we only need it for an ice pack and a couple of steaks or burgers/hot dogs. That fits perfectly in there. Size-wise, it would fit a 6-pack of soda and some ice comfortably.

Talk about things I didn't think I need until I actually do, this is on that list.It is so easy to assemble, build quality is great, and I can't believe how much it stores. Great for holding ice for long periods of time as well as cold beverages.Fit so perfectly and is adjustable to fit various non permanent type pools. Functions lovely.

By far the best add-on yet.I load it up with drinks and ice in the morning, and by evening I’m still sipping cold, refreshing beverages like the backyard queen I am. It's compact, easy to carry, and keeps everything icy without needing to run inside every hour. This little cooler is one of those “why didn’t someone think of this sooner?” kind of deals—great for keeping a few cold ones within reach while you’re soaking in the pool, but not something you’re going to stock for a full-on backyard bash. It’s compact, probably closer to lunchbox size than anything you’d call a "cooler" at a tailgate, but it does the job it’s clearly meant to do.The hanging hook setup is surprisingly sturdy and fits right over the edge of a soft-sided above-ground pool. No tools, no drama; just hook and go. I wouldn't hang anything heavy off it, but for 5-6 drinks and some ice? Perfect. You’re not going to chill a case of beer in this thing, but if you just want a few waters, seltzers, or whatever you’re sipping, it’s spot on.I had it out on a sunny afternoon and was honestly impressed—it kept the ice frozen and the drinks cold for the better part of the day. That said, I wouldn’t count on the “12-hour” claim if it’s sitting in direct sun without a break. Still, way better than I expected from something this small.The lid opens from the same side it hangs on, which is clever; makes grabbing something mid-float super easy. Build quality feels solid—definitely not flimsy plastic—and it didn’t slosh or tip even when the kids were doing their usual splash-a-thon ten feet away.So yeah, if you’re looking for a centerpiece cooler for your summer pool party, this isn’t it. This above-ground pool cooler is a total game-changer for summer! It floats perfectly and keeps drinks cold for hours, even on super hot days. The design is fun and functional—plenty of room for sodas, water bottles, or even a few adult beverages. It’s easy to set-up, sturdy, and doesn’t tip over, even with a bit of pool splashing. Nice small cooler. It will hold 6 bottles of water. Designed to hang on a pool, but can be used anywhere by removing the detachable hooks. Does not keep ice for 12 hours as the description claims, but it works as well as the average cooler. Is it worth $40? No. You're paying for the novelty of having a cooler hanging on your pool and the convenience of not having to get out of the pool to get a drink. Additionally, there are several coolers exactly like this one on Amazon for less.

This is a smaller cooler but that's what I was expecting when I ordered it. You're going to put maybe a six pack in here if you have ice. It's not going to hold too much more. But the little hanging hook is supposed to work on above ground pools. I'm guessing it does I use it on my hot tub and it works perfectly. It's actually what I wanted it for so I could bring a few drinks out to the hot tub this summer. It was nice kept everything cool and did what I wanted it to do.

This is a review for the Above Ground Pool Cooler Up to 12 Hours, Poolside Ice Keeper 11 QT with Handle for Backyard Swimming Pool, Portable Ice Box for Beach Camping Ice Bath, Pool Accessories for Summer Party.This is a nice compact sized cooler. It's slightly bigger than a six pack or lunch cooler, but still small and easy to move around. It will hold some drinks, or picnic stuff, frozen groceries, etc.It comes with hook bars designed to hang on an outdoor above ground pool. I took a chance and ordered it to see if it would hang on our hot tub. Sadly, the hook bars were too narrow for hanging on our hot tub.However, it's not clear on the listing, but the hook bars come on or off. When they are off, you've got a nice little cooler. When they are on, you can hang it from your above ground pool railing or other somewhat narrow bar, like possibly a raised tailgate, fence railing, boat, horse trailer or utility trailer bed. This does broaden the possibilities! It's very handy to have your cooler up off the ground.The hook bars are on the same side as the lid opens, so it can face you while it's hanging. That makes it darn useful.The insulating capabilities are average.
