The battery was dead no way to get the thing apart. It’s glued together to replace the battery and it is as cheap as you can get. and no instructions.

Just doesn't work. Not the batteries, Tried new, fresh, and still not dependable. Won't show hot wire with contact or non-contact routinely. If you need to know hot wire, spend more and buy real tester. Amazon should not sell this junk
