It has good quality and is water-resistant, with a stable connection and a strong, durable cover. For certain items, if you have high-speed internet, it performs very well. Overall, I really like it, but it would be even better if it came with a wire for installation instead of requiring an extra purchase. Despite that, the quality is impressive, and I’m satisfied with it.

using it as an extender, set up was fairly easy. I needed wifi in a metal building that is only about a hundred feet away its signal is strong enough to pass through metal and give me good signal.

I needed a better Wi-Fi solution for my backyard, and this outdoor access point seemed to be the answer, especially since I'm a big fan of camping 🏕️. Setting it up was surprisingly straightforward, and the PoE feature made it easy to get power to it without needing an outlet nearby; the signal strength is fantastic. I've tested it with various devices, and it maintains a strong connection even at a pretty good distance — perfect for streaming movies during outdoor gatherings; and the weatherproof design gives me peace of mind. I've tried other extenders, but this one is by far the most reliable; it's also great that it supports router, AP, and repeater modes, so I was able to set it up just the way I wanted; I'm very happy with this snag.

I set up this WAVLINK outdoor wireless access point for my backyard, and it works fantastic. The signal is strong and covers a long distance, even out by the edge of my property. It was easy to install, and the weatherproof design is perfect for outdoor use. I love that it supports multiple modes, so I can use it as a repeater or an access point depending on my needs.

Overall, I absolutely love this outdoor weatherproof repeater/extender/AP/router with 4 antennas (antennae?). When first setting this up, I hate to admit that I almost gave up and threw it in a closet. If I had to go through those first few screens asking for my language and such one more time after performing a firmware update, I was going to scream! I do have some concerns for the future of this device and the need for any updates wiping out all of my settings, but I will deal with that when the time comes. I have an at-home office/workshop that isn't attached and enough of a distance away from the house that getting any signal was difficult. I hated our line-of-sight system because the wind kept knocking it out of alignment. I liked this because it would be able to extend our current MESH system in the house out to my workshop, and so far the signal has been strong enough to get a good connection and speeds to the main system. This device has so far survived several major rain storms and 2 months of 20 degree (F) temps with no problems. I would highly recommend this connection device to anyone looking to extend their network in multiple ways.🐻 *Statement/Disclaimer: This review is part of Amazon's Vine Program which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for sincere/frank reviews. This thing had a LOT of thread tape on the threads for the access cover, thread tape it doesn't need if the seals are properly installed and aligned. I realized the seal problem when trying to attach the antennas. They have a seal cup over the connector but as much as I tried two of the antennas would connect. Removing the cover I found several wraps of thread tape and distorted seals. It looked like the rubber connector seals were pushed out during assembly causing excess rubber to interfere with connecting the antennas as well as not allowing the cap o-ring to properly seat. I removed all the thread tape and trimmed the connector seals until I was able to get the o-ring to seat properly and the antennas attached.Once I got everything assembled and connected I tried to set it up indoors. The links in the instructions were simply not working. I did some searches and finally, somehow, was able to connect. Not even sure now how I finally found success as I was switching between my laptop, tablet, and phone. The tablet and phone have different versions of Android and I have found that to be the issue with other devices, that and whether I was connected via 2.4 or 5G.I set this up as a repeater and mounted it on the corner of my shop. I actually have a minute plan on my phone to save on my plan and use WiFi calling wherever possible including home where I make most calls. One issue I have gotten into on my property when outside or in my shop has either been dropped WiFi or being on the borderline of WiFi range leading to intermittent issues with connection. With 3 acres I needed to increase my WiFi range. This repeater has given me full signal on my phone anywhere outside on my property as well as in my shop.I use my tablet in my shop for streaming music. My shop has heavy gauge metal siding, thick sawmill lumber framing, and a lot of space from the outer to inner wall due to being built initially as a pole barn. All of that has made getting and keeping a good enough WiFi signal to listen without interruption tricky and sometimes not worth the headache. Even parking the van or truck between the house and shop interferes enough to disrupt my listening. Getting a good enough signal for simply listening to the radio is even worse. Now, with this repeater, I get and keep good strong signal for streaming. Makes working in my shop much more enjoyable. No more walking around the yard, shop, or wherever when trying to make and receive calls or get a good enough signal to stream music or simply look something up online.Great product. Great value.

worked great for my use. Setup is a little tricky but I was able to get through it. Great value for the money. Wish I would have gotten the camo one though as it would blend outdoors better.
