As I originally stated, ACDelco is a great product. It's pretty much the standard when it comes to Chevy products. Although maybe not impervious or perfect, AC Delco comes very damn close. Good parts for the money. If you're building up a general motors, chevy, cadillac, or Pontiac. AC Delco is the way to go. Get yours today

I only replaced my 1998 Cavalier's coolant sensor because the cooling fan was coming on when it shouldn't have, After installing the new sensor, I found that bleeding air out of an air bleed valve on a coolant pipe solved the fan problem. The new sensor installed easily, and comes with thread sealant already on the threads. It works fine.

Bought this to replace my burned out sensor in my 2003 GMC Sonoma V6 4.3L engine. Once I found the sensor on the block (Drivers side, almost directly under the brake reservoir) it was a simple matter of removing the old one and putting in the new one. Threaded right in, connected to the 2-wire plug and started feeding data to my ECU no problem. Aside from the difficult location on the engine block, this was a direct fit replacement for my truck. As I only installed it last night I can't speak to longevity or durability, but it fit and it works.

ACDelco, these post GM bankruptcy days, is a name only. They source parts from all over the world and put them in little blue and white boxes that say "ACDelco" on them. You think you're getting an original, made in America GM part ...sad to say ...not.This one was made in Mexico. But at least GM has some assembly plants in Mexico and they do sell GM cars there. Not sure what makes this a "Professional" sensor. It has sealant pre-applied to the threads. It is an exact replacement part. It fits perfectly and didn't trip any OBDII codes after I put it in.
