This Action Pump 7010 hand-operated piston drum pump is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for resistance to acids and alkalis, delivers 10 oz. of fluid per stroke, and is suitable for dispensing detergents, most acids, chlorines, oils, D-limonene, waxes, alkalis, water, or soaps. It has a 1-1/2" inlet port with a 5-1/2" suction hose and a 1/2" outlet port with a 22" polyethylene discharge tube that resists abrasion and corrosion. This pump can deliver a maximum of 4 gallons of liquid per minute (gpm) (2 gpm for oil) with a maximum viscosity of 650 centipoise (cps). It comes with 70mm and 3/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded bung adapters. This pump is suitable for use with 5, 6, and 7 gallon drums for dispensing liquids in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

When I first got the pump I thought it was great. It was easy to use and made it easy to move chemicals from container into my pool. But after just a few weeks I started to notice that it was not getting suction on every pull of the handle. And then, nothing! The handle has broken off from the suction head inside the pump. Since the pump is sealed, it is not possible to see what happened or fix it. It is trash!Oh, I have only had the pump for 4 months and have used it very limited. I use it to transfer about 2.5 gallons of chlorine into my pool twice a week.Last note: not certain if this is an Amazon thing or the seller, but there is no way to get in contact with the sell to contact them about a warranty. Since the order is over 30 day old, it is an endless loop. Glad I did not pay that price that it is listed for now on Amazon!

Will not work if the bottom hose is as long as it is in the picture. Only works if it is very short.
