This solved a major problem for me to fit a boat on a non-custom boat trailer. It went on easily and is perfect for guiding the boat properly on the trailer. It was installed for me by my friend who is quite a handy man, but was fully installed within a couple of hours.

While I like the product and set-up, here are a few criticisms and suggestion for long term life.None of the hardware/tubing is stainless or even galvanized for that matter.The one long term failure that will occur is the lack of a drain for the main bar that clamps to your trailer or cradle. This will capture water and secretly rot the pipe from the inside out. I removed the black plastic plug to allow water to drain. See the photos I provided.
