A possible bookstand for kitchens or work desks - keeping the book up and open.Be aware right from the start that this stand is a bit fiddly. It doesn’t fall over, but setup is difficult and wonky. For larger books, you spread out four small corner supports and then pull out the two side clip sections. These sections are rather narrow and they kind of stick, they don’t pull out smoothly - it can be a few minutes to get them just right. The clips are clear so you can see the text of the open book, but they are also large so will somewhat cover the text. Once loaded up with a book, the stand is a bit top-heavy when raised up, and the lip is small so may not hold larger, heavier hardbacks like a Joy of Cooking very well.But good notes-This stand has many points of adjustment from angle, height, and size of book it can accommodate. It is an unobtrusive white plastic with clear page clips. It folds up compactly to make storing it easy which is great because space is limited for us in the kitchen. It is also very adjustable in every aspect, so it can fit quite a few different sized books and change the angle of presentation depending on the size as well. It's also great for holding a tablet or device, so you can watch and follow along with your fav cooking gurus on social media.
