This easel is surprisingly sturdy and well made. The wood parts are nice and smooth. The assembly instructions were pretty good. All the screws etc needed were there. The screwdriver included was even good enough quality to add to my toolbox for using around the house.

Nice, lightweight easel for beginners. Easy to move and adjust, and easy to fold for storage or for taking it outdoors for plein air painting.I found the easel uncomfortable with a medium-size canvas because the lower support bracket is very low and doesn't adjust even to a medium height. If you are more flexible, or don't mind working on a low canvas, you may not find it as uncomfortable as I did....Took 30 minutes to assemble. Lots of assembly required - 26 pieces. But if you take it slowly and follow the directions (which have pictures but no words), it isn't difficult to assemble.

Easy to put together and came with an amazing screwdriver that is full size which made this so much easier to put together and i love the screwdriver for my other projects as well. This folds up nicely and is great quality and holds canvases well.

This is the perfect size easel for my new paint-by-number project. The easels I’ve had in the past were all really larger and a bit heavy. I could understand the need for a large heavy canvas, but not for my small project.

Update: the seller responded with incredible speed, and quickly sent the missing hardware. The easel assembled well and is sturdy. Improving rating from 1 star to 4 (still one star off as it should have worked the first time).This easel comes almost entirely disassembled, with predrilled holes and instructions. There is even a screwdriver! Sadly, there are no screws (though those are listed as included in the package). So I have no idea whather it will work or how hard it is to assemble, or whether all the parts are even there. I am very sad, as I was looking forward to using it. The wood is well milled, with a nice blond finish, and seems sturdy.
