My starter on the harley would just whine and occasionally catch and start. This starter clutch assembly is supposed to only turn one direction and mine did both. After pulling starter apart this just dropped in. Now starter is like new again

If you have a Harley, and your starter is spinning but not engaging then buy this product. I spent a couple of days trying to figure out what was wrong with my starter because I didn't want to buy a new one from HD with a $450 price tag... especially because mine still had good torque and was working fine, except it wouldn't engage the flywheel. Reading forums as well as the tech guide for my bike I narrowed it down to the starter clutch. This thing is a beast and my starter is now working again AND quieter than it has ever been.
