I mistakenly stripped the bridge height screw on my Squire Bass Vi. I received this one overnight. It is a direct fit drop in bridge. Would recommend.

The bridge fit perfectly in my project guitar. Easy to install, and feels quality in the hand. If I were to buy a Fender bridge for 3x the price or this one again, I'd buy this without question. This is a very usable piece that is well made and dirt cheap. No-brainer purchase. I will get one for my next offset build.

I put this (and a JM-style tremolo) on an offset-style guitar that had a fixed bridge. It works, but I don't love it. For one thing, it raised the action significantly, even in the lowest position. Plus, since it's in the lowest position, all the height adjustment screws are sticking out and they dig into my hand when I'm playing. This means I need to raise the bridge and shim the neck. Not what I was hoping to do.

Low quality piece that doesn't make a good impression. The saddles allow almost no adjustments due to the size of the screws and springs. I do not recommend the purchase, better wait a little and invest in a quality piece. In my case, I'll keep it because it's the only offset guitar bridge that allows some height adjustment and I need this because I'm going to put it on a guitar with a 12" radius of fretboard profile. But I'll have to look for new screws and springs to be able to use it. In the photos, the comparison with a Mustang bridge that came on a Squier Jaguar that I have.

Got this as a replacement for classiv vibe Jaguar stock bridge. It was an immediate improvement. Stays in tune better, tone/sustain is better, action feels better. Can’t really do better than this for how cheap it is.

For about $13, this bridge is at best a slight downgrade from the stock Mustang bridge that comes standard on Squier Classic Vibe Jaguars and Jazzmasters. I have both, I have swapped out the stock bridge on both for the fully adjustable Alnicov bridge, and ended up going right back to the stock bridge. The Alnicov is cheap pot metal, and the hex screws in the saddles are extremely sharp and not correctly sized. I am all for finding gear on a budget, but I cannot honestly recommend the Alnicov bridge. For both my Jaguar and my Jazzmaster, I ended up doing what I should have done in the first place, which was to spend about $30 a pop for a real Fender bridge. Perhaps the Alnicov bridge works better than the classic Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridges that come stock on the Squier Vintage Modified and period-correct Fender offset models, and I am not saying that the Alnicov bridge is a terrible product, but I would caution any buyer to simply be aware that there is a reason why an actual Fender bridge costs twice as much.

I’ve dealt with a few of these inexpensive Jazzmaster-style bridges, and this is by far the best one. Most importantly, it gets it right by including thimbles with bottoms! Most of the cheap alternatives are worthless because they get this detail wrong. On top of that, it’s constructed well, looks sharp and works great. The only thing to be aware of is the 7.25” radius. Unless you’re installing it on a guitar with that vintage Fender radius, be prepared to re-radius it by adjusting the saddles with the included Allen wrench. You’ll want a set of bridge radius gauges to do this right. When I installed it, I had to re-radius to 10”, which is a pain but I am very happy now that all the work is done.

Despite the low price, this is actually a nice bridge. I used it to replace the stock bridge on a Classic Vibe Jaguar. It dropped right in and everything works fine. One heads up: mine came with the height adjustment screws inserted upside down, so the hex wrench wouldn't work from the top. It took me an hour or so to figure out what was wrong but I eventually unscrewed the screws from the bottom and turned them around, and everything was good.
