I bought this bit for cutting HDPE, a plastic. I bought just a single item to try it out. It makes horrible chip wraps in HDPE to a point where I had to clean it after every few holes because the chip wrap was melting the plastic. My bit was also out of dimension as the slot it was cutting was 0.245" wide instead of 0.25" as called out. The bit stayed cool throughout the cuts. I did not try it out on other plastics.If accuracy is not important, it might work for you. It might also work better on other plastics. Maybe I just got a bad sample.

The bit cut acrylic great until it didn’t. At some point the bit appeared to have delaminated the outer coating in a few places. Note I had about 9 hours straight cutting on this bit before it occurred.

Tried quite a few bits before I bit the bullet and bought this. Used a Bob's cnc 4 to cut holes in pvc for rgb lights. Cannot believe people are still using stepped shank drills to cut holes . This bit will reduce the stress on your machine and reduce the amount of torque the workpiece sees. You will not have to keep adjusting the workpiece for accurate cuts. Cut 50 holes in 14 minutes . Will switch to J channel for next year. The process will be orders of magnitude faster with this bit. Btw one bit cut over 3000 holes before I noticed plastic burrs.

Amazing quality, cuts 4 times as fast and at 1/5 the RPM of my last bit. Oh and it makes my CNC almost silent! I deffinatly recommend this bit for any CNC user
