I like it, works well. The leather flap gives flexibility that the new rigid plastic ones do not. More like the old fashioned screen ones but better made than current flimsy screen swatters. Should last forever. Esthetically, if you care, would grace a log cabin wall. Drawback is only the price, but maybe durability and effectiveness offset the high cost.

I was tired of getting the cheap plastic fly swatters that only lasted a month or two before they broke completely, so I decided to venture into this upgraded swatter. The item feels sturdy, and even though the wire size appears the same thickness as the cheap swatter, it looks a bit rougher and almost feels like galvanized wire, but the end result is it’s much sturdier than all other swatters that I have ever used. I was a bit hesitant on the leather as I was unsure if it would move too much air such that the flies would notice and fly away, however, this turned out to not be the case. With the leather end there is a certain added weight over the plastic variant, and I’m not if it’s just the weight or length but it feels like I have to swing this swatter faster to get the flies over the plastic option. The only detractor for this swatter is that it could be 2 or so inches longer, other than that it works perfect and I expect this to last years to come.

I was looking for the old wire mesh swatters and decided to give this a try. Quite possibly one of the best things I've ever bought. Excellent quality and durability if you have the need for it. 10/10 would recommend.

I intended to give this five stars but after I got to two stars it was accepted and I had no way to change it. This is truly a great flyswatter and will last practically forever and I am very glad I bought it. It is a little pricey but I look on it as a gift to myself. Go for it.

I did not like how the rivets fell out on day one. I buy many times just because a product has the Amish name on it.

After moving to the desert, cockroaches, crickets, and earwigs have become my constant companions. But even more constant is this amazing flyswatter! It took me until I was an adult to realize that you can use a fly swatter for any bug... And this thing really does do the trick! I like that it is fashionable, you wouldn't really think a flyswatter could be fashionable, but it hangs in my kitchen with pride and saves me from having to get my hands near disgusting bugs.

Was so impressed with the precise efficacy of this leather swatter over its flimsy competition i got a second for my car...doesnt it just drive you nuts when flies get in there and your driving? No longer a problem. Curriosly it doesnt seem to 'smash them' and create a permanent mark schmear....with German efficiency it dispatches them post haste with charming accuracy. Yes...this is the best swatter i ever used.....

I didn't have a "fly" in mind when I purchased this swatter. I just happen to be one of those people who attract mosquitoes. As soon as the weather starts to warm up, they seem to be everywhere. I've tried swatting at them with rolled up magazines and newspapers, towels, shoes, etc and nothing has worked. With this swatter, the "poor little guys/girls" never see the hits coming. Well made product and also attractive (if a fly swatter can be considered attractive). Highly recommend.
