Previous exhaust manifold was cracked and O2 sensor alerted.Shop needed to grind this manifold down a bit to make it fit but they did not seem upset about it. This was on an 2004 Saturn Ion 2.2 Ecotech.

Ne fitais pas parfaitement...fallu grindé un peu pour entrer sur le moteur dans un coin ..mais sinon semble faire la job...pour le prix c'était très intéressant

This was purchased for a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire cause the stock one was cracked. I thought this was going to be a at least a decent exhaust manifold with gaskets and heat shield. Well it wasn't, though I knew going in that a aftermarket part rarely fits perfect without some kind of tweaking. The kit came with a new manifold, manifold studs and nuts, gasket to head, gasket to exhaust pipe and a new heat shield. The gasket to the exhaust pipe side was wrong and not even close to fitting. The heat shield was also not even in the same ballpark to fit. So there is two pieces of the puzzle that didn't work. Now the good part,the manifold does not fit unless you grind down the side and bottom edges so that it can clear the ridges in the head. Two of the mounting holes on the ends were not even close to fitting and had to be notched and ground out with a cut off wheel so that it would fit. The remaining holes all had to have a bigger drill bit put through them so they could clear the studs easily. After doing all of that and a hour of messing around, it finally fit. This job would have been so much easier if the manifold would have just fit like it should have from the beginning. Buy something else as this kit is junk.

Everything fit and works but still have an exhaust leak. Obviously not an issue with the product or my original manifold. 🙄
