Je ne sais rien sur la durée de vie de ce produit... mais, pour le moment, je peux vous dire que c'est idéal. Bonnes dimensions pour mon véhicule Jeep Cherokee North 2015. Probablement plus difficile à retirer les anciens morceaux que d'installer le nouveau produit. Coût des plus avantageux si je compare avec les prix du concessionnaire. Entièrement satisfait... pour le moment...!

These fit perfectly and seem very sturdy, at least for now. Time will tell. Installation was very easy. Old ones were very easy to remove because they're wasn't much life left in them. The new pistons took a little more work to install as i had expected.Recommendations on the installation process: Find something or someone to hold the hatch open before removing old pistons. Make sure the ends of the new pistons are threaded all the way in or they may end up to too long. Attach to the hatch first. The other end will most likely not be facing the right way to get the ball inserted into the receiver. Turn the thick portion on the piston clockwise to align the receiver. If you turn it counter clockwise, you will unthread the other end and make the unit too long. If the receiver doesn't reach the ball, obviously you will have to turn counter clockwise to make it longer.

The product fits perfectly for the Jeep Cherokee. It isn't quite as strong as I was expecting, but it seems OK so far. It's a bit slow when opening the tailgate, but it has a strong holding power.
